Chizhou is a rising industrial city with rapid development.Fully aligning with the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, Chizhou takes six provincial-level and above development zones as core industrial platforms,namely the Wanjiang Jiangnan Emerging Industries Concentration Zone, the national-level Chizhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, the Chizhou High-tech Zone, the Dongzhi Economic Development Zone, the Dadukou Economic Development Zone (the Shitai Economic Development Zone) and the Qingyang Economic Development Zone. The city vigorously promotes the project for clustered development of strategic emerging industries. The output value of the semiconductor industry exceeds 30 billion yuan;that of new materials industry tops 100 billion yuan; and that of high-end equipment manufacturing industry reaches 32 billion yuan. The commercial space industry has gathered 18 upstream and downstream enterprises, forming a complete industrial ecosystem covering rockets, satellites and special materials. 10 low-altitude economy manufacturing projects have been introduced, with 5 application scenarios developed.In 2025, the added value of high-tech manufacturing industries rose by 22% year-on-year, and 116 new industrial enterprises above designated size were added, hitting a record high.
